Freeze chances look even less likely. It's the right kind of pattern but features are much too weak.
There will be a cold front coming through in a week or so but it won't have the gusto
to get the real cold air to penetrate far enough north.

I would say we went from a 10% chance of a freeze to less than 5% chance.

It's still far enough away so big chances are possible.
