The "C" coffee futures contract here closed with "spot" Mar. 275 points net lower and near May 270 points net lower. Today’s sales are put at 38,493 lots or 9,623,250 bags. In London, the Robusta contract closed with “spot” Mar. $15 net lower and May $14 net lower. Sales were put at 11,677 lots.

In the market for actuals here, Colombians, UGQ, were offered FOB for Mar./Apr. shipment from 74¢ to 76¢ over May “C.” Colombian supremos, screen 17/18, were offered FOB for Mar./Apr. shipment from 80¢ over May “C.” Semi washed Brazils, 2/3s, 15/16 were offered FOB for Mar. through June equal shipment from 5¢ over the relevant months “C.” Santos 2s, screen 17/18, fine cup, were offered FOB for Mar. through June equal shipment from 8¢ under the relevant months “C.” Santos 2/3s, medium to good bean, fine cup, were offered FOB for Mar. through June equal shipment from 11¢ under the relevant months “C.” Santos 4s were offered FOB for Feb./Mar. shipment from 20¢ to 18¢ under the relevant months “C,” depending on description.
