I suggest that what you are seeing is only something many are told in such to look at, they at one time called this 'traders ape', as money see money do thing.

Investment of funds are shifting and moving to value and markets and those that trade markets see other markets moving funds out or in towards a process in which can be suggested they are related 'they are not'.

They are not because if so then all market would move in sic at a time towards 'when the trend' and or why would they ever consolidate?

You see if markets were or have a relationship what created the 'brake' from time to time while other times do the complete opposite months or years before?

Traders are train well in the street as those that seek answers most time do not invest, the cause towards an effect would continue and really never break from the trend in gear, as why stating the relationship is not there, its 'only the thinking that exist' that is there.

This is a very hard thing to digest in observing markets because only a small few suggest such makes it all more a truth.
