If we close out the month in KC on a high, or better still a breakout, it's gonna look very good on the monthly charts...very much like the start of something big, I'd say...

There are a few ways of looking at this, but I'm posting a monthly neaby KC chart to illustrate my point. (with apologies to Barefoot and others who only look at continuous or Logarithmic charts)

The market could close the month over the top of (or riding on top of) the (rising) upper Bollinger band FOR THE SECOND MONTH RUNNING.

It has only done this (convincingly) on two occasions in the last 13 years - 1997 and 2004/5...Both major/steep monthly rallies....
